LA SPEZIA - Lots of photography, author's drawings, Romanticism painting: there is all this in the exhibition projects scheduled for this week. LA SPEZIA - An unprecedented side of cartoonist Paolo Mottura's talent is at the center of the exhibition "Pinocchio, Carême and other stories", scheduled at the CAMeC Modern and Contemporary Art Center from 29 January to 1 May. Curated by Eleonora Acerbi and Cinzia Compalati, the exhibition brings together numerous illustrated stories by Mottura, including his latest project dedicated to the fairy tale "Pinocchio" (Edizioni NPE, 2021), in addition to the pictorial work "No graffiti" from 1998 and the site-specific acrylic drawing, made on the corridor wall, representing the author himself.


    PADUA - The exhibition "From Romantics to Segantini. Stories of moons and then of gazes and mountains. Masterpieces from the Oskar Reinhart Foundation", curated by Marco Goldin, opens on 29 January at the Centro San Gaetano. focuses on the starting point of art in Europe in the early nineteenth century, romanticism, through artists active in Germany and Switzerland.


    NAPLES - Al Mann from 26 January to 25 April "And Adone does not know ...", an exhibition in which Gaetano Di Riso reinterprets the myth of Adonis starting from the famous sculpture of Adonis of Capua belonging to the collections of the Campania museum.

The itinerary presents 12 canvases and an inlaid wooden installation as well as 3 benches that reproduce the suggestions drawn from the sculptural figure.


    MILAN - The street photography of one of the most important authors of the twentieth century is the protagonist from 25 January to 2 April at the Milanese space of Leica Galerie in the exhibition "Joel Meyerowitz.


    Leica Hall of Fame 2016 ", curated by Karin Rehn Kaufmann, with the adaptation of Denis Curti and Maurizio Beucci. On display about 50 photographs that Meyerowitz made in New York, immortalizing streets and towns, and in Europe during a trip in 1966 / 67, and again in the United States, the latter shots in which the element of color becomes more and more important. From January 27 to March 6 the tribute to the photojournalist Gian Butturini arrives at Still Fotografia with the exhibition "London 1969- Derry 1972. A photographer against. From Swinging London to Bloody Sunday. "The exhibition features a collection of 50 photographs documenting the contradictions of London at the end of the 1960s on the one hand, and the political and social tensions in Northern Ireland following Bloody Sunday on the other. ,the massacre that took place in Derry on January 30, 1972.


    CATANZARO - "Minima Fragmenta" by the sculptor Antonio Tropiano is set up at the Marca from January 29th to April 17th.

Curated by Alessandro Romanini, the exhibition presents 20 sculptures of the most representative of the Calabrian artist, works that, like islands, are located in a sort of archipelago in which they cross, multiplying thoughts and visions.


    ROME - From 25 to 31 January the exhibition "Fatina Sed. Biography of an extra life, from 16 October to Liberation" set up outdoors in Via Frattina, at the corner with Piazza di Spagna, on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance.

Curated by Fabiana Di Segni (granddaughter of Fatina Sed) and Alessandro Alfieri Picone, the exhibition brings together 40 photographs to tell not only the story of the protagonist (deported at 13 to the Auschwitz concentration camp) but also the historical stages (and the horrors) of Nazi-fascism.
