In the summer of 2020, TF 1 viewers discovered Chris Marques on the jury of a new music show: “Good Singers”.
A year and a half later, it is at the animation of this same program that we will find him.
According to our information, TF 1 production, which produces this show, chose him to replace Jarry, who left for France Télévisions this fall.
A rather late decision.
Filming is scheduled for the next few days.
The concept of “Good Singers”, adapted from the Korean format “I can see your voice”?
A singing show where guests must investigate to distinguish the good from the bad singers among a selection of anonymous people who lend themselves to the game. Launched by surprise on July 17, 2020, the first was rather well appreciated by the public: 3.2 million viewers (18.2 PDA).
But the last one, broadcast six months ago, did not have the same enthusiasm: only 2.1 million people (11.7%).
For Chris Marques, historic juror of “Dancing with the Stars” who released his autobiography in October 2021 entitled “If only you knew”, this is not a first for the animation of a television program.
He had already presented the adventure game “Tahiti Quest” on Gulli, in 2019. A season which had recorded correct audiences, with more than 400,000 faithful on average, on Friday evening.
He also co-hosted the cancer awareness program “Stars à nu” with Alessandra Sublet.
For his part, Jarry shot this week the first two of “Le big show”, a new entertainment produced by Hubert Productions (“Mask Singers”, “Les reines du shopping”…) for France 2 where this comedian evolves like a fish in water.
On the program: surprises, hidden cameras and happenings reserved for the thousand spectators of the Marigny theater.
If certain sequences are reminiscent of "Surprises on the catch" or "Don't forget your toothbrush", everything here relies on Jarry's energy.
