Hospital pressure remains strong in France.
This Friday, Public Health France counted a total of 32,988 Covid-19 patients treated in hospital, as well as 355 new deaths.
A figure up from Thursday, when there were 32,852 hospitalized patients.
They were 31,271 seven days ago.
3,618 patients are in critical care, compared to 3,643 on Thursday, and 3,656 last Friday.
In total, more than 132,000 people have died from Covid-19 in France since the start of the epidemic.
A decrease in the circulation of the virus
The circulation of the Covid-19 epidemic is slowing down (-8%) on national territory but remains high, especially among the elderly, the public health agency France warned on Friday, inviting not to relax the measures of braking.
“This indicator nevertheless continued to increase among people aged 70 and over and remained at a very high level (over 3,000 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) in the majority of regions”, noted the agency.

After three and a half months of outbreak, the pandemic began to decline this week in the world.
With 3.03 million contaminations recorded every day worldwide, the indicator is falling for the first time (-10% compared to the previous week) after fifteen weeks of increase, according to an AFP report stopped on Thursday.
Most regions of the world are seeing their situation improve.
This is the case for the United States/Canada zone (-38%), Africa (-21%), Asia (-16%), the Latin America/Caribbean zone (-13% ) and the Middle East (-4%).
The situation is virtually stable in Europe (+1%).
