by Ida Bini (ANSA) - ROME, 04 FEB - Cuba, Singapore, Turkey, the Thai island of Phuket, Oman and French Polynesia are the new exotic destinations open to tourism thanks to the covid free tourist corridors. These destinations join the others already open before Christmas: Aruba, Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles, Dominican Republic and the Red Sea with Sharm El Sheikh and Marsa Alam. So, those who are organizing their honeymoon, a warm getaway or a relaxing holiday in a distant place, now have the possibility to choose more non-EU countries, ready to welcome safely and where the rules for traveling are simpler.

    with the certification of healing and boarding, the "Travel Pass tourist corridors" certificate is presented, issued by the operator or agency and containing information relating to travel, stay at the facilities and the compulsory Covid policy.

For greater safety, travelers must also undergo a molecular or antigen test in the 48 hours before leaving and in the 48 hours before returning;

upon arrival in Italy - or within 24 hours after their return - they must undergo a further molecular or antigen test.

If their stay abroad exceeds seven days, they will have to undergo an additional molecular test during their stay.

These security procedures, therefore, make it possible to avoid fiduciary isolation.

"The ordinance"

    Cuba is a popular destination for Italian tourists for its beaches and historical-cultural heritage and is also appreciated for its good price-quality ratio.

Today it is the second most vaccinated country in the world, after the United Arab Emirates, and agencies and tour operators are rushing to offer safe and unforgettable holidays.

    Singapore has responded to the new openings by increasing weekly flights - 5 from Malpensa and 4 from Fiumicino - and focusing on experiential tourism such as the virtual reality flight simulator, gastronomic discoveries, cable car excursions, boat tours between the islands. and 4D activities at Sentosa's Adventurland.

    Turkey focuses on cultural tourism, city breaks and the most famous seaside resorts, which is also close to the world of cruises with Costa.

Among the novelties in Istanbul, the rebirth of the completely renovated Atatürk cultural center in Taksim Square stands out.

    In Thailand, another destination much loved by Italians, only the island of Phuket is open to tourism.

Known as the "pearl of the Andaman", it is the largest island in the country with a beautiful coastline characterized by long stretches of sandy beach alternating with rock formations.

It offers over 30 beaches, many of which are easily accessible and feature pristine white sand.

    The Sultanate of Oman is one of the destinations in which Italian tour operators are investing heavily with personalized travel programs.

In fact, there are many types of travel: adventurous in the desert, cultural in cities and oases and romantic for couples in search of relaxation and beauty.

    French Polynesia has always been a destination for honeymooners;

with the opening, the beautiful exotic archipelago wants to show not only its face but also the traditions and culture of the islanders.

There are strong reassurances on the health front: to go from one island to another, it is necessary to show the green certificate.
