This was revealed by the Confcommercio Study Center in a report on the South and the Pnrr on the data to 2019, in which it is emphasized that even in Calabria the employment rate of women fell from 31% in 2007 to 30.3%.
The participation of women in the labor market in the South is "absurdly low", says the study center.
"The Covid crisis has further weakened the South in terms of employment, productive capital and income.
