This Sunday, February 6, she celebrates her platinum jubilee and becomes, at 95, the first sovereign of the United Kingdom to have achieved this longevity.

An important date which plunged her into the memories of her first jubilee, in 2002, which this time celebrated her 50 years of reign.

“2 tablespoons of good health”

A time that Queen Elizabeth took a fortnight ago in her Windsor Castle. In the photos, unveiled by Buckingham Palace on Friday February 4, we see her surrounded by her letters, looking at these sweet memories including a little girl's poem entitled "The recipe for the perfect queen". The latter had listed all the ingredients necessary to make an incredible sovereign, including “50 ml of royal blood; a trait of loyalty; a cup of courage; a few drops of a big smile; 2 liters of hard work and 2 tablespoons of good health”.

Among the other treasures unearthed, a portrait made with the fingerprints of schoolchildren from Leicestershire College, as well as a card stamped with the word "Ma-am you're the top!".

But still, a fan signed by the friends of Queen Victoria.

All of these precious items are kept in the Royal Archives at Windsor Castle 'for posterity'.

A birthday cake

On the eve of her Jubilee, Saturday January 5, the Queen kicked off the festivities by hosting a reception for members of the local community and volunteer groups, at her residence in Sandringham.

Dressed in a light blue dress adorned with a pearl necklace and two diamond brooches, the queen sported a radiant smile throughout the day.

Among the guests was the former cook Angela Wood, to whom we owe in particular the "coronation chicken" or "Chicken Queen Elizabeth", a classic dish of British gastronomy.
