Jordan Harel usually prefers to avoid sharing intimate details of her life on social media, but she opened a question and answer session on Instagram in front of 399,000 followers, and shared with them the fertility treatments and surrogacy process she went through with the divorcee Omri Shalom about two years ago.
"I would love tips for a fertility patient whose path is difficult, what helped you get through such a complex period?"
A surfer asked to know, and Harel (37) shared that what helped Lev in the process was to make the treatments part of the routine and "normalize" them without making them the center of her life.
She went on to say that she tried not to sink into the difficult situation, and what would happen if it did not succeed, but to concentrate on the good things in her life.
Harel said she found it difficult to share with the environment what she was going through as part of her fertility treatments, especially when she felt there was no progress, and only told a few close friends.
The media, she added, was shared only after four years of treatments, and it was precisely this sharing that brought with it a sense of relief, she admitted.
She further shared that the best decision she made was to stop the difficult fertility treatments and opt for surrogacy, and when asked if she and Shalom were still in a relationship with the surrogate who gave birth to their twins Lenny and Geffen, she excitedly replied yes, calling her "angelic" when she noted how much she loved her.
