Culinary rivalry between food staples is not something we encounter much.

Usually, at least on the surface there is mutual paragon and quite a few collaborations, but after even the great chefs decided to break the dishes (or the toilets), now it's the bloggers' turn to make their voices heard and go to war, with two posts posted yesterday on social media taking some of the laundry The dirty of this branch out.

First round: Amit Aaronson vs. Daniel Amit

The food journalist, Amit Aaronson, and one of the first food bloggers in the country, came out last night in a scathing post against the culinary network's anchor Daniel Amit.

Aaronson criticized a quote from an article aired with Daniel Amit on News 13 in which she said "he who does not pay, then will not be photographed."

Among the things he wrote "This sad sentence came out of the mouth of Daniel Amit (who is still for some reason portrayed as a" food blogger ") and is twice as depressing. Daniel Amit - a strong, impressive, confident, funny and ultra-charismatic woman who has become a walking brand - no frills. No taste. No choices. No products you like to cook with, no small businesses wanting to help them, no joy of discovery and sharing There is nothing in Daniel Amit's world that comes from culinary love. There are those in this world who are paid for it, and there is everything else.

Aaronson received backing and support from many chefs, journalists and food people from the field.

A colleague for her part did not remain obligated of course and responded "Anyone who knows and follows knows that I support businesses endlessly. Small and large. Many times without any consideration, just to pick up and grow. So this sentence does not represent anything and it was said completely just for fun. "Okay, the main thing is that this is not really the reality. Very complete with everything I do."

She added, "And one more thing, you can think about what I hid there. Barn flakes. I did not hide any kind of blue-and-white farmer.

Second round: Amit Aaronson vs. Jonathan Rochefeld

The second part of the post, Aaronson dedicated to Chef Jonathan Rochefeld.

After disappearing for a long time (and returning as the culinary consultant of a new food deli in Ramat Gan), Rochefeld has also returned to our TV screen in recent days, as the tough restaurant critic of the next restaurant. Among other things he wrote "So Rochefeld is a great chef and an even greater cook, but he is not (really) a restaurant critic.

A restaurant critic does not come "evil today".

At least not the restaurant critics I know or the restaurant critics I would like to operate in the world in which I operate.

Evil, contrary to popular belief, is not a necessary trait for a restaurant critic.

Coming to your job impartially, however, is yes.

No matter what side you got on, no matter what you think about the concept you read about before the meal, no matter what you think about who is in the kitchen or the location, no matter what you think, maybe even know, that you are going to experience.

So say "Come on,

What are you heavy on?

It's all reality and ratings " The good, the mistakes, the flaws, the place that will make me big and the others small? And even so (speaking of the first section), food culture is not promoted. Grow up the "villains": "I never, but never, go to restaurants because I've heard something bad about them.

"I always, always, always hope for a fantastic evening." And this is the sentence with which every person should go anywhere in the world to any restaurant - not just to the next restaurant in Israel. "

Today, why should I as a customer not come evil to the restaurant?

Why should I not from the first moment look for the bad and not the good, the mistakes, the flaws, the place that will make me big and the others small?

And even so (apropos of the first section), do not promote food culture.

As another (real) restaurant critic who has been operating here in the country for many, many years and is perhaps considered to be the "villain" once told me: "I never, but never, go to restaurants because I have heard something bad about them. I always, always, always hope for dinner fantastic".

And this is the sentence with which every person should go anywhere in the world to any restaurant - not just to the next restaurant in Israel. "

A post shared by Ori Shavit Veganism enjoys more (@ori_shavit)

Third round: Uri Shavit retires from the culinary world and goes against chefs and a food journalist

Another post that went particularly viral on social media yesterday is by the food woman (until yesterday at least) Uri Shavit, who was a former food journalist, founded "Vegan enjoys more" and is one of the leaders of the vegan revolution in Israel, and also worked in various positions in the field. In a scathing post, against quite a few colleagues, this time without mentioning names.

Among other things, she wrote "Chefs, sanity, journalists, food men and women, restaurateurs ... In the last decade I and many others have lit a piece of lantern into your eye for you, so that you can begin to see what we saw and woke up. The death and suffering and pain of animals, "The terrible price that humanity is paying for food that is harmful to health and the horror that animal food is doing to the environment. Your little one has taken significant steps over time. Thank you so much for that."

But then Shavit continues to attack unrestrained friends and former colleagues "Most of you continue to publish and make loads and loads of recipes with corpses and excrements of miserable animals, who just wanted to live and be free. It's just impossible to see these atrocities, my friends do it to my friends , Poor and helpless, that I have no way to save. And why am I writing this? Because I'm tired of these cynical exploitation and enslavement. Tired of closing my eyes and excuses. Freedom and meanwhile selling the same animals in a pita or a bun. Tired of chefs at home not eating meat and on TV yes because they "must". It's shallow and smoky posts and not original and that you only think (or mostly) about the likes and followers and about yourself. "

She goes on to write "I have news for you - these money and likes will not bring back to life the unfortunates you slaughtered and will not help you explain to your child or grandson why there are no more fish in the sea or why there is no clean groundwater to drink".

She ends the post by saying that these are her parting words from the culinary world and that she is moving on.

Uri Shavit v. Daniel Amit (Photo: Screenshot, Facebook screenshot)

Fourth round: Uri Shavit against Daniel Amit

Because it's not a food channel, it's an advertising channel and everything is unreliable and artificially artificial.

"So it's true that Daniel Amit once published a post against domestic violence at my request, because we knew Sugat and she is a nice and funny girl, but I do not appreciate it either as content or as culinary and agree with Amit."
