(ANSA) - MILAN, 07 FEB - The board of directors of Mps unanimously approved the appointment of Luigi Lovaglio as chief executive officer and general manager of Mps after having revoked, again unanimously, the powers of Guido Bastianini.
The board of directors, explains a note, "came unanimously to the conclusion that Dr. Luigi Lovaglio, by virtue of his significant experience also at an international level, combined with his in-depth knowledge of the Italian banking sector, is the most suitable profile to cover the role of managing director and general manager of the bank ".
Bastianini was unanimously and immediately revoked the powers of general manager, chief executive officer and director in charge of the internal control and risk management system of Mps, as well as of all the related powers, while the latter remained in office as a member of the board of directors.
