Why prefer cream of tartar instead of baking soda?
While
phosphate is used as the acidifying agent in conventional
baking powder
, natural tartaric acid is used in
tartar baking powder.
Therefore tartar baking powder tastes less strong.
Recipe for magic semolina porridge: How to make the semolina to lose weight
Mix the semolina with the milk and sugar and bring to the boil and simmer over a low heat for about a minute, stirring constantly, until the semolina thickens.
Allow the semolina porridge to cool briefly and then stir in the baking powder.
Now take a blender or hand blender and beat the semolina porridge until fluffy for about five minutes.
