The Ministry of Health announced tonight (Wednesday) that according to data yesterday, 37,608 new carriers were identified in Israel, which is 24 percent of 179,525 new tests.
The number of active carriers in Israel is 328,538 Israelis, of whom 1,153 are hospitalized in critical condition, of whom 273 are respirated and 22 are connected to an Acmo device.
Also, the infection rate of the virus stands at 0.79, the number of isolated staff members now stands at 4,264 of them 626 doctors and 1373 nurses.
Meanwhile, the number of Israelis who died because of the virus was 9,337, while yesterday evening the number of deaths was 9,276 Israelis.
That is, during the day 61 people died.
