(ANSA) - BOLOGNA, 10 FEB - The earth in Emilia, in the Reggiano area trembles in the evening, and fear awakens after the earthquake that almost ten years ago, in May 2012, devastated some areas of the provinces of Modena and Ferrara.
The first shock was felt at 19.55 with its epicenter in Bagnolo in Piano, magnitude 4.0.
The second was stronger, at 9 pm, in Correggio, 4.3, also heard in Modena, Parma and Bologna.
Other settling movements followed, with lower magnitudes.
Numerous people are on the street, there have been many calls to emergency numbers.
In Modena, where there was supposed to be a concert in memory of Mirella Freni, people left the theater, including the mayor Gian Carlo Muzzarelli and the show was postponed.
The president of the Region, Stefano Bonaccini, reached the civil protection operational center in Marzaglia.
"The regional system is alerted, close to the local communities", said Bonaccini who got in touch with the Minister of the Interior Luciana Lamorgese and the head of civil-national protection Fabrizio Curcio.
