The French website France Soir has announced the death of the French virologist Luc Montagnier, Nobel Prize in medicine in 2008, who had recently embraced no-vax positions.
But the news has not found other confirmations at the moment.
"At the age of 89 (August 18, 1932 - February 8, 2022), Professor Luc Montagnier passed away at the American hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine. Doctor Gérard Guillaume, one of his most faithful collaborators, confided in us that he left in peace, surrounded by his children ", reads the controversial France Soir.
Messages of condolence are multiplying on social media, but so far no official source or other French and international media have confirmed the death of the virologist.
