(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 09 - From the Certosa di San Giacomo to Caprial Grande Maxxi in Rome which invests in technology and sustainability.

With the favorable opinion of the State Regions Unified Conference and after the passage to the Superior Council of Cultural Heritage, 200 million euros arrive which will finance 38 new projects and 3 new acquisitions contained in the Strategic Plan for Major Cultural Heritage Projects launched by the Minister of Culture.

"Investments that confirm the centrality of culture in the government's economic policy action", underlines Franceschini.

The project for the realization of the Grande Maxxi foresees an investment of 15 million euros for technology, innovation and sustainability, while 5 million euros will arrive in Capri for the relaunch of the Certosa, the oldest monastic complex on the Neapolitan island.

   "The recovery and enhancement of the cultural heritage - says Franceschini - is one of the fundamental axes on which the economic and social growth of the country is based".

In particular, the funding of 38 projects for the recovery and enhancement of as many cultural assets distributed in 16 regions will go to € 186,285,510, while € 12,790,490 will be used to attach three different realities to the state assets.

It consists of three very different realities: the first, Villa Massenzia, is a property that extends between Cecilia Metella and Circolo Maxenzio along the Via Appia Pignatelli and which will become a base for the additional services of the Archaeological Park of the Appia Antica;

the second is Villa Buonaccorsi in Potenza Picena;

the third concerns some agricultural land in the province of Venice which, according to scientific findings,

correspond to the storage context of the maximum extension of the Roman city of Altino and in particular the Forum and the theaters of the ancient city which could therefore become the object of new archaeological excavations and in the meantime make the archaeological area and the visit path with the National Museum unitary and organic, AltinoLab and the archaeological areas of Altino.
