Samsung launched the new Galaxy S22 smartphones in the Unpacked event

Two,
Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22
+, take up the lines and shapes of the previous S21 while the Galaxy S22 Ultra is inspired by the Note family, officially ended in the summer of 2020.
With the S22, Samsung begins a new path towards greater sustainability in production of consumer technological devices

Part of the volume buttons and the internal side sections of the phones is in fact composed of material derived from the processing of disused fishing nets, recovered from the oceans.
All this is part of the 'Galaxy for the Planet' initiative, in turn inserted by Samsung in a broader path that proceeds alongside the 17 sustainable development goals defined by the 2030 Agenda. The South Korean company has also entered into a partnership with the UNDP, the United Nations Development Program, with the aim of sensitizing people to undertake correct behaviors in their daily activities, including with the use of technology.
At the same event, Samasung also launched the Galaxy Tab S8 in three formats.
All models enjoy upgrades to the hardware part, from the processor to the ram memory and storage space, which on the Ultra also reaches 1Tb.
An important change of step concerns the photographic section, for which Samsung introduces features such as
"Nightography"
, designed for shots at night or in low light conditions.
This is where
artificial intelligence comes in
which enhances the photos and preserves the colors and characteristics of the original environment.
Galaxy S22 and S22 + have a 50MP main sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide angle.
For video capture, Auto Framing detects up to 10 people and automatically calibrates the camera's focus to portray each subject in a defined manner.
Both devices are powered by Vdis technology which minimizes vibrations, so as to obtain smooth movies even when recorded on the move.
On an aesthetic level, the portion dedicated to the sensors is always raised from the rest of the rear chassis but retains the same color as the rest, for better continuity.
The distinctive element of the
Galaxy S22 Ultra
is in the boxy shape of the phone, which makes it a close relative of the Notes.
Also included is the S Pen, the stylus that made the series famous, integrated in a compartment at the bottom of the chassis.
Unlike its two younger brothers, the Ultra has a 108MP main sensor and a more defined 6.8-inch screen.
Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 + have a panel of 6.1 and 6.6 inches respectively.
All three can be pre-ordered from today, with prices starting from 879 euros for the 8 + 128 gb Galaxy S22 to 1,079 euros for the 8 + 128 gb Plus and 1,279 euros for the 12 + 128 gb S22 Ultra.
