The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the suspension of the examination process in all colleges and institutes in Al-Hasakah Governorate, which is affiliated with Al-Furat University, after the American occupation and the “Qasd” militia bombed the buildings of some colleges, assaulted them, looted their assets, and prevented students of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and the administrative and teaching staff from entering the building to take exams.
The ministry indicated in a statement, which SANA received a copy of today, that the examination process has been suspended in all colleges and institutes in Al-Hasakah Governorate, affiliated with Al-Furat University until all equipment, furniture and documents stolen by the “Qasd” militia backed by the American occupation are returned, and alternative buildings are secured and the attacks are stopped. On the teaching process in those colleges and institutes.
Since the twentieth of last month, the American occupation forces, in cooperation with the “Qasd” militia, have bombed and destroyed a number of university and service buildings, people’s homes and infrastructure in the southern neighborhoods of the city of Hasaka, under the pretext of pursuing fugitives from the prison controlled by the militia in cooperation with the occupation forces.
The council of elders and dignitaries of Syrian clans and tribes in Al-Hasakah Governorate condemned in a statement today the destruction of the buildings of university colleges in Al-Hasakah by the US occupation forces and the “Qasd” militia, the looting of their contents and supplies, and the disruption of exams at the College of Agriculture, calling on the militia to lift its hand from those colleges and schools.
