(ANSA) - AOSTA, 10 FEB - Valle d'Aosta is preparing to pass into the yellow zone from next Monday, 14 February: the ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Roberto Speranza, is expected for tomorrow.
The Alpine region was the first to be included in the orange area in this fourth wave of infections, on 17 January.
For about ten days, however, there has been an improvement in the data on hospitalizations of positive Covid patients and the number of new infected has also been decreasing.
A meeting was held today between Aosta Valley administrators and health managers to take stock of the situation.
After having worried and having approached the limit for the passage in the red zone, the occupancy rate of intensive care places has dropped below 10% (threshold foreseen for the white zone), reaching 9% also based on the latest data from Agenas.
The beds in the non-critical area occupied by positive patients amounted to 32%.
