The Minister of Economy: 'Credit transfer can be refined'. Corrections in arrivals with an amendment (ANSA)

More checks on the superbonus: the corrective measures should arrive with an amendment to which the Mef and Parliament are working, as explained by the Prime Minister Mario Draghi and the Minister of Economy, Daniele Franco.

On the building bonuses "we can think of further refinements, we are thinking of better tracking" the operations, "we could have a wider possibility within the banking system, with two or three sales" of credit, "everything can be done but it remains essential to avoid further scams that are among the biggest that this Republic has seen ", said Minister Franco in the press conference at the end of the CDM.

"The government wants the mechanism to work and the corrective measures should find a place in an amendment that the ministry and Parliament are working on."

Draghi explained.

"Those who thunder the most about the superbonus today, who say that these frauds do not count, that we must go on anyway ... well, these are some of those who have written the law and have allowed work to be done without checks. this situation is because a system has been built that provided for very few controls. And if the superbonus slows down today it is due to the seizures deliberated by the judiciary for fraudulent issues for 2.3 billion. But of course the sums being investigated are much, much higher ", he said. said the premier, adding: "It is not that construction, without super bonuses, does not work.

"To say that the problems that now arise depend on controls, I don't think, depend on the massive action of the criminal judiciary that intervenes on a context that was previously poorly regulated", said the Minister of Economy Franco, speaking of building bonuses.

"Many prosecutors have intervened, for hypothesis of crime", seizing "over 2 billion credits which are bodies of the crime and therefore the intermediary cannot do anything about them".

In the current situation, "the important thing is that business resumes, that all intermediaries return to accept requests and that the market restarts more securely than before", added Franco.

"Asseveration, ex ante control of the Revenue Agency, limits on the number of credit transfers, all go in the direction of ensuring certainty for operators. So top priority to make this mechanism work but it must work in conditions of certainty that will help the system to work better ".
