Peloton has to lay off 2,800 employees due to the Corona crisis.

The company does not want to be stingy when it comes to saying goodbye – but a gift will probably displease many.

The company

is known for its fitness courses on home bikes.

While the company was still one of the winners of the pandemic at the beginning of the corona crisis thanks to its home offer, demand and growth have now stagnated - with consequences.

Layoffs: Peloton is laying off 2,800 employees worldwide

On February 8, the company announced that it would replace previous CEO John Foley.

His successor will be Barry McCarthy, who, as the former CFO of Spotify and Netflix, should be familiar to many.

But the workforce also has to tremble: As Peloton announced in a press release,
