There are 5,339,679 Italians over the age of 5 still without the first dose of the Covid vaccine: a week ago there were 5.8 million.
There are 1,404,960 people over 50 'no vax', one hundred thousand fewer than in the previous survey.
The data emerges from the latest bulletin issued by the structure of the emergency commissioner Francesco Figliuolo.
It is the pediatric group (5-11 years) that has the greatest number of people without injection (1,796,090, half of the total of this age group);
the 40-49 age group follows (873,476, just under 10%).
Among the unvaccinated there is also the share of those who are exempt due to health problems.
In the age group 5-11, in which vaccination began on December 16, 2021, as of February 9, 2022 there is coverage with a dose of 13.8% and two doses of 21.5%.
This is highlighted by the extended report of the Higher Institute of Health that accompanies the weekly monitoring.
