US Secretary of State
Antony Blinken
announced that today he will have
a telephone conversation
with Russian Foreign Minister
Serghei Lavrov
on the crisis in Ukraine.
Blinken said there were
signs of an escalation in Ukraine by Moscow
.
"We continue to see very worrying signs of an escalation of Russia, such as the arrival of new troops on the Ukrainian border," he said at a press conference from Fiji.
