In Plancoët (Côtes d'Armor), farmers, brought together at the call of the Departmental Federation of Farmers' Unions (FDSEA) and Young Farmers (JA), toured the supermarkets of this town of 3,000 inhabitants.
They dumped various rubbish and debris in front of the entrance to these stores.

”, explained to AFP the president of the young farmers of the department, Jérémy Labbé.

," he said, referring to the trade negotiations currently underway at the national level with large retailers.

After visiting three supermarkets, these farmers planned to go to a dairy to also demand an increase in the price at which the dairy buys their milk from them.
Similar events took place in particular in Lannion (Côtes d'Armor), Morlaix (Finistère) and Quimperlé (Finistère).

For several months, breeders (milk, pork, poultry) have been sounding the alarm about their financial situation, in particular due to the increase in their production costs (in particular animal feed linked to world prices), without their selling price to food manufacturers being revalued.

" of 270 million euros for the pork industry to support the cash flow of pig farmers.
