(ANSA) - NEW YORK, FEBRUARY 12 - Joe Biden "was clear" with Vladimir Putin and told the Russian president that if Russia were to invade Ukraine, the United States and its allies would respond "decisively" and impose "severe costs" in Moscow.
The White House affirms it.
Biden told Russian President Vladimir Putin that the United States "remain committed to diplomacy but are ready, with allies and partners, for other scenarios as well".
