Here's a recipe for the mini version in a handy format: Applesauce muffins are ready in no time.

Applesauce pie is delicious, but sometimes too much for a single eater.

If you don't want to bake for the big coffee round, muffins are ideal.

Simply halve the list of ingredients and you'll have fewer little cakes that you can eat all by yourself.

Alternatively, the

Applesauce Muffins Recipe: You need these ingredients

Servings:

for 12 muffins

Preparation time:

20 minutes

Baking time:

15 minutes

Difficulty level:

  • 2 eggs

  • 40g softened butter

  • 150 g apple sauce or apple puree

  • 1.5 tbsp maple syrup

  • 125 grams of flour

  • 40 g ground almonds

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 2 teaspoons of baking soda

  • 40 g natural yoghurt

Pleasure in mini format: How to bake delicious applesauce muffins

  • Grease the wells of a muffin tin with butter or line with paper liners.

    Preheat the oven to 180°C top/bottom heat or 160°C fan.

  • Beat the eggs in a bowl, add the butter and mix in.

    Then stir in the applesauce and maple syrup as well.

  • Mix flour, almonds, cinnamon and baking powder separately and add dry ingredients to liquid in bowl.

    Finally, stir the yoghurt into the batter as well.

  • Divide the batter between the muffin cases and place in the hot oven.

    Bake your applesauce muffins for about 15 minutes.

  • Leave to cool and dust with cinnamon or powdered sugar, if you like.
