"The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" is an absolute cult series of the 90s.
The new edition, produced by Will Smith, has now started.
Before Will Smith became an absolute Hollywood superstar, he was known as "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"* in the series of the same name.
In Germany, too, the show is one of the best-known and most popular productions of the 1990s.
The original did have some dramatic moments, but it was primarily designed as comedy.
After a fan produced their own trailer showing what the series would look like as a straight drama, Will Smith got the idea to actually remake it.
"Bel Air" has now started.
