(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 15 FEB - "The US is prepared, regardless of what happens", "an attack on Ukraine will always remain possible": US President Joe Biden said this in the White House after the latest developments on the Ukrainian crisis.
The US "has not yet verified at this stage" a withdrawal of Russian troops, Biden added.
"We are eager to negotiate written agreements with Russia", to propose "new measures on arms control and transparency": the US president specified, stating that diplomacy must be given "every chance to succeed".
"We do not want to demean Russia", he assured him.
