(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 15 - Novak Djokovic says he is ready to renounce any tennis tournament, including Wimbledon and Roland Garros, if he is required to be vaccinated as a condition for participating.
The Serbian champion said this in an exclusive interview with the BBC, released a month after his expulsion from Australia, which prevented him from competing in the Australian Open.
"Yes, it's a price I'm willing to pay," said Djokivic.
"I fully support the freedom to decide whether to be vaccinated or not," he added, emphasizing, however, that he is not contrary on principle and therefore does not want to be associated with the no vax movement.
