Humbug report about corona vaccination: Are newly vaccinated people not allowed to donate blood?

Rumor has it that blood donation after a corona vaccination is not possible.
However, this is clearly refuted by the DRK blood donation service.
Regular blood donations ensure that sufficient blood supplies are available in an emergency.
As the German Red Cross (DRK) informs, every third person needs blood at some point in their life, be it because of a traffic accident or because of cancer.
In addition, donating blood can also be healthy for the donor
: regular donations are said to be able to lower the blood pressure of hypertension patients.
A blood pressure check-up is also part of every appointment.
But what happens if I am "freshly" vaccinated against Corona?
There has been misreporting in the United States over the past year about the possibility of donating blood after a Covid vaccination.
In the summer of 2021, Facebook and Telegram posts reported that the US Red Cross had banned blood donations from people vaccinated against Covid-19.
The supposed reason: The vaccination destroyed natural antibodies.
