Jean-Jacques Bourdin case: "heavy drag", "abuse of power" ... new testimonies against the host

A month after the revelations of the newspaper "Le Parisien", which wrote that Jean-Jacques Bourdin was the subject of a complaint for attempted sexual assault, Mediapart investigated the star host of RMC and BFMTV, temporarily removed from the antenna .

Several women testify in particular to sexual proposals, including Fanny Agostini, the former journalist of BFMTV-RMC, whose complaint we revealed, anonymously at the time.

Among the people met as part of the Médiapart survey, some describe Jean-Jacques Bourdin as "respectful" towards the women he meets at work, despite a well-established reputation as a "seducer".

Others portray a much different character.

Fanny Agostini claims that he would have "taken a dislike to her" from the start and returns to his alleged assault.

According to his story, Jean-Jacques Bourdin would have “grabbed her by the neck, on the side”, and would have “brought her towards him suddenly” while trying to kiss her “several times”.

She also mentions an email, received in 2014 and already mentioned by “Le Parisien”: “You tempt me every morning… I like your look.

"Heavy" and "repeated" drag

The investigative media also evokes “many messages with a sexual connotation” intended for Fanny Agostini but also for another woman at RMC.

Mediapart also collected the testimony of the journalist from France Bleu, Sidonie Bonnec, who evokes her collaboration with Jean-Jacques Bourdin, and a proposal before a festival in Calvi.

"There is a swimming pool, don't forget your swimsuit," she recalls about the words of Jean-Jacques Bourdin.

And to add: “This sentence cut my legs.

Host forcefully contests sexual assault charges

The testimony of a former trainee, collected anonymously, evokes an "abuse of power" in the words of the person interviewed.

At the Café de Flore, where she has a coffee with Jean-Jacques Bourdin, the host would have explained to her that he was "the author of erotic stories", that she "inspired him [t] a lot and that this would be good if [she] could accompany him to the places of his stories, ”writes Mediapart.

Other testimonies, finally, evoke the absence of a border between the private and professional spheres of the host, who exchanged sexual messages on his Twitter account, co-managed by RMC community managers.

Solicited by Médiapart on these recent testimonies, Jean-Jacques Bourdin did not respond.

Temporarily removed from the air on BFMTV and RMC, he strongly disputes the facts of which Fanny Agostini accuses him.

“I know this person, and I worked with her.

I admit having bathed with her in the swimming pool of this hotel.

But I never tried to kiss her by force, neither her nor anyone else, ”he told Le Parisien last January.

An investigation was entrusted by the Paris prosecutor's office to the 16th arrondissement police station and an internal investigation was opened by Altice, parent company of BFMTV and RMC.
