USA: production prices soar in January, up by 9.7%

(ANSA) - NEW YORK, FEBRUARY 15 - Producer prices in the United States in January rose by 1% on December and by 9.7% on the same period last year.

The data is worse than the expectations of analysts, who bet on an economic increase of 0.5% and on a trend of 9.1%.
