To enable "Take a break" you need to go to "Settings", "Account", "Your activity" and select "Set break reminder".

At this point you can program a reminder that will send a notification once the maximum browsing time on the social network has been reached, when you do not exit and re-enter the app but you always remain on the same.

To make sure teens are aware of the option, Instagram will show a notice inviting them to try it.
