Covid: Scholz, Germany will start lifting restrictions

(ANSA) - BERLIN, 16 FEB - Germany will begin to revoke some of the anti-Covid restrictions in force.

This was announced by the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.


    "A large part of the current restrictions" will be gradually lifted with a three-stage plan, which will end on March 20, explained the head of the Berlin government.

Among the novelties, the possibility for the unvaccinated to return to restaurant shops, as long as they have a negative test.


    "After two years, we deserve to get things better again and it looks like this is happening," said Scholz, however asking the Germans to continue wearing masks and take precautionary measures because "the pandemic is not over".
