Honorary President of the 37th Victoires de la Musique on February 11, Stromae has taken care of his return to the stage.
His performance of
Santé
, an ode to forgotten everyday workers, is the first on the French stage since 2015 and the release of
Racine Carrée
's live album .
This musical break is explained by a burn-out and suicidal thoughts, which the Belgian mentioned during his appearance on the TF1 television news last month.

So the maestro didn't skimp on the staging, to the point of getting the Seine Musicale audience on their feet.
Surrounded by musicians, Stromae was also accompanied by a surprise guest: an avatar, a sort of living 2.0 version of the inanimate mannequin from the
Papaoutai
clip .
Projected on the screens, this double invited the public to dance to the choreography of
Santé
.
Specially designed for the occasion, the animated double is as Belgian as its model, since it is signed by nWave Pictures, an animation studio based in Brussels.
Nicknamed the "Belgian Pixar", several 3D creations are associated with him, including
Bigfoot Family, Royal Corgi
or
Samy's Extraordinary Voyage
.
"I don't have the same body anymore"
This touch of virtuality will be integrated into the “Multitude Tour”, the future tour of Stromae.
In an interview with
Télérama
, the artist mentioned what his next concerts could look like.
“
We work with robotics, 3D animation like Pixar or DreamWorks.
It's an ambitious show
,
”
he revealed.
“
I want to enjoy it more and be less on the balls at the end of the show.
The previous one was very trying and I no longer have the same body: I will soon be 37 years old
”.
The pure dances will therefore fade in favor of choreographies dictated by an avatar.
Stromae will perform for three previews - all sold out - on February 22, 24 and 27 in Brussels, Paris then Amsterdam.
An appetizer before the festivals - including Coachella and the Eurockéennes - and the upcoming tour.
