Critical care services had 3,055 Covid-positive patients on Thursday, compared to 3,126 the day before and 3,416 the previous Thursday.

The number of people positive for Covid-19 hospitalized, including those in critical care, continues to decrease, as does the circulation of the virus, according to official figures released this Thursday evening.

The total number of hospitalized patients reached 29,843 against 30,578 on Wednesday and 32,415 people seven days ago.

The number of new admissions (1882) is also down compared to the day before (1975), or compared to that of Thursday of the previous week (2420).

The critical care services, which receive the most serious cases, had 3,055 Covid-positive patients on Thursday (including 228 admissions), against 3,126 the day before (288 admissions) and 3,416 the previous Thursday.

A figure that also continues to decline slowly.

More than 136,000 dead

The Minister of Health Olivier Véran conditioned this Thursday the lifting of health measures in mid-March concerning the wearing of a mask and the vaccination pass to several criteria, in particular a number of Covid patients in intensive care which would be “between 1000 and 2000”.

The incidence rate also continues to decrease significantly: it registers a drop of 44.6% in one week.
