An intervention of 5 or 6 billion against the expensive bills,

funds to be put together without resorting to new deviations, especially to alleviate the costs of businesses.

The government is preparing the decree with which to cut energy costs, but it does so in a guerrilla political climate.

So much so that, in view of the council of ministers scheduled for tomorrow, in the control room convened in the afternoon, the reprimand of the Prime Minister Mario Draghi to the representatives of the majority was staged, after the government had gone under four times during the night, in commission, on the amendments to the milleproroghe.

"That's not right," said Draghi.

"But the government changes its method", he was replied by some heads of delegation, with the implicit request for greater involvement of Parliament in important decisions.

In the morning, the bill dossier had been the focus of a meeting between the Undersecretary to the Prime Minister Roberto Garofoli, the Minister of Economy Daniele Franco, the head of cabinet Mef Giuseppe Chinè and the General Accountant Biagio Mazzotta.

Among the interventions being studied by the government to cut the cost of bills, there would be an extension of the measures already adopted in the first quarter for households and businesses, as well as controlled gas prices for energy-intensive industries and a boost to Italian gas production.

"What we have to do - said the Minister of Economic Development Giancarlo Giorgetti - is to try to increase national production and in some way introduce mechanisms, which are being studied,

criminal penalties for those who commit fraud on bonuses could be tightened.

In particular, the responsibility for those who make false declarations is being assessed.

Another hypothesis being studied provides that the 110% deduction of the superbonus, recoverable today in five years, can be 'suspended' in the event of a credit seizure.

And if the investigations do not end with a confiscation, the credit could be recovered even once the time has elapsed.

We then move towards the reintroduction of multiple transfers, with a maximum limit of three, one to the company and two in the banking world.

"Looking at the horizon of the medium and long term - explained Giorgetti - we have to implement certain types of policies. What we can do today, in particular on natural gas, is to increase production and manage storage much better".

With this in mind, yesterday Undersecretary Roberto Garofoli and Ministers Roberto Cingolani and Daniele FrancoIn met Eni's CEO, Claudio Descalzi, to verify the possibilities of increasing national gas production.
