Jailhouse Rock
... No doubt: it is indeed Elvis Presley.
The trailer for
Elvis
, a biopic dedicated to the rockabilly legend, has just been unveiled.

in 2013.
This biopic, Baz Luhrmann wanted to include it in its time.
“Someone like Shakespeare would take a very famous iconic character to explore a larger theme.
If you want to explore America in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, you can't choose a more iconic life than that of Elvis Presley
,” he said in an interview posted on Twitter.

In parallel with his twenty-year career,
Elvis
inscribes the complex relationship between the diva and her manager.
As the trailer illustrates, Colonel Parker spots the unknown Elvis Presley at just 19 years old and instantly thrusts him into the spotlight.
In a few months, he landed him a contract with the RCA Victor label.
The musical and cinematographic projects as well as the health problems of Elvis were worth some disputes between the two men.
The colonel will follow his protege until his death on August 16, 1977, at the age of 42.
