Green light from AIFA at the fourth dose for the immunosuppressed

Concludes primary course of 2 doses plus the additional one (ANSA)  Green light from the Technical Scientific Commission (Cts) of the Italian Medicines Agency (Aifa) - according to what ANSA learns - to the 'fourth' dose of the anti-Covid vaccine for severely immunosuppressed subjects. The Aifa CTS met yesterday and expressed a favorable opinion sent to the Ministry of Health. Technically it is not a 4th dose but the booster dose at the end of the primary vaccina


 Green light from the Technical Scientific Commission (Cts) of the Italian Medicines Agency (Aifa) - according to what ANSA learns - to the 'fourth' dose of the anti-Covid vaccine for severely immunosuppressed subjects.

The Aifa CTS met yesterday and expressed a favorable opinion sent to the Ministry of Health.

Technically it is not a 4th dose but the booster dose at the end of the primary vaccination cycle consisting of 2 doses and 1 additional dose.

The '4th' dose will be administered with mRna vaccines.

Times of administration are the same as for the booster dose for the general population.
