(ANSA) - MILAN, FEBRUARY 19 - A flashmob in Piazza Duomo in Milan to say stop to all forms of violence and discrimination against women and LGBTQ + people and to present the claims in view of the strike on March 8, women's day.
It is the initiative promoted by the feminist collective 'Non una di less' whose activists are presented in Piazza Duomo with large pink balloons that have pierced their holes during the flashmob 'We'll buch it stopatriarchy'.
The event was held symbolically in Piazza Duomo, as the activists explained, which on New Year's Eve was the scene of violence against a group of girls.
During the flashmob, signs were displayed with some data on violence against women in Italy: 118 women were killed in 2021,
68 were killed by her husband, partner or ex, femicides rose by 8% in 2021, blackmail and threats to Lgbtq + people went from 11 to 28%.
Female unemployment in Italy is 50% and one in two women does not work.
