The Ministry of Health announced today (Sunday) that 10,354 were detected last night as positive for the corona virus - this is the lowest daily verified number since January 2.
Also, the number of hospitalized in critical condition rose to 832.
The coefficient of infection remains low at 0.67.
Meanwhile, the percentage of positive infections from yesterday increased slightly compared to the previous day and reached 20.61%.
As for the serious illness, it is a decrease of about 19% in the number of patients in a serious condition within a week.
28 patients connected to an Acmo machine and 265 respirators.
Over the weekend, 15 corona patients died, joining more than 1,500 dead since the start of the omicron wave.
In the sum of the last seven days, 135,275 Israelis were verified (44% less compared to the previous seven days), 575 patients were hospitalized in critical condition (37% less compared to the previous seven days) and 168 died (57% less compared to the previous seven days).
However, the declining trend in the number of vaccinated continues.
During the weekend, we vaccinated 149 Israelis in the first dose, 378 in the second, 469 in the third and 1,187 vaccinated in the fourth dose.
Meanwhile, today another discussion is expected between the Prime Minister and senior officials of the Ministry of Health, which will deal with further easing with the decline of the Omicron wave, so that in fact only the obligation to wear masks and tests upon entering Israel will remain.
