This coming Thursday, February 24, there will be a "Cinema Day", during which it will be possible to watch movies in all cinemas around the country at a price of ten shekels per ticket.
This is an initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Sports and of the Israeli Film Industry Association.
On October 27, "Israeli Cinema Day" took place, during which Israeli films could be watched for ten shekels.
Following the dizzying success of the venture, another such day was held on December 8th.
At the "Cinema Day" that will take place this week, it will also be possible to watch films from abroad, and not only Israeli films. Among the films that can be watched: "Death on the Nile" starring Gal Gadot; the action film "Uncharted" with Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg ; "Shadow Agent" with Liam Neeson; "Silent Heart" drama with Kate Winslet and Susan Sarandon; "Surprise Wedding" with Jennifer Lopez and Maluma; the comedy "Love, Weddings and Other Disasters" starring Jeremy Irons and Diane Keaton; Fateful Hour "starring Naomi Watts; the British film" The Duke "starring Jim Broadbent, Helen Mirren and Matthew Good; as well as Israeli films such as" Snowland "starring Shlomi Kuriat and Uri Pepper (which premieres Thursday); director Nir's new film Bergman "Here We Are" starring Shai Avivi; "Victory Picture" by Avi Nesher; "Perfect Strangers"Directed by Lior Ashkenazi, and more.
