Nuclear? "It will be the next center-right government to do so" (ANSA)

"Parliament is elected by the citizens to pass laws: it is not parliamentary guerrilla warfare if it modifies for the better some provision issued by the council of ministers, such as the superbonus, helping businesses and families. Parliament does its job. Otherwise we abolish Parliament".

Thus the leader of the League, Matteo Salvini, comments on the case of the amendments to the Milleproroghe on which the government went into commission last week.

Is there a risk that the parliamentary guerrilla will go on?

"Absolutely no, those who occupy their time by working have none to make controversy", replied Salvini, guest of 24 Mattino, on Radio 24.

"With the current center-right, which governs 14 regions and hundreds of municipalities, once the nervousness of the last few weeks has passed, I am confident that we will return to work together".

"Of course, FdI has chosen the path of the opposition and is more inclined to say no, we have made a choice of government at the moment we prefer yes, but - he added - then there will be a center-right coalition that will have at the center of the economic program, fiscal peace and the elimination of one million tax bills ".

"If in the next 40 days - said Salvini - the situation continues to improve in hospitals, streets, schools and factories, the state of emergency is overcome and from our point of view many restrictions are also overcome. But it is wiser to arrive. to talk about it on March 21, the first day of spring, when there will be a few days left. But fortunately the situation seems to me under control ".

"Extending the state of emergency to date doesn't seem to make any sense," he added.

"I would like to be part of a government that looks to the future. The whole world is investing in research on clean, safe, next-generation nuclear power, which would make us much less dependent on abroad and make electricity and gas bills less heavy. But obviously there are Pd and 5s against it, it is clear that on this issue an agreement will never be found: I hope that the next center-right government will make this choice ", declared the leader of the League.
