The movement should be extensive, according to the UNSA, which says that many metro, bus and RER lines will be stopped that day.
The trade union also adds that the forms of strike will be varied.
Probable "
invasions
" of organizations are to be expected, such as Île-de-France mobilities or institutions representing the State.
“
We want to mark the occasion.
We will not hesitate to be heard during the campaign trips of certain candidates
,” says Arole Lamasse, secretary general of the UNSA-RATP.
Rising wages and opening up to competition
As during the last strike movement which took place on February 18, the unions are demanding a 3% increase in wages to "
cope with inflation and defend purchasing power in Ile-de-France
".
They dispute the 2.7% proposed by the RATP, saying that it is really only a real increase of 0.4%.
Another demand, the opening up to competition for bus networks, which is pushing organizations to mobilize to assert their disagreement.
The RATP, for its part, affirms that the negotiations on the wage increases have been completed since February 18 and will lead to a proposal for a 2.7% increase in wages.
No comment was made on the strike call by the trade unions.
