Haman ears of a bakery (Photo: Nimrod Saunders Edited by: Amir Cotigro)
Purim is just around the corner here, the patisseries and bakeries have started to fill up on Haman's favorite ears, but we were sorry to find that the price increase has reached them as well and caused a storm.
Not just a storm, one that caused Rabbi Shlomo Aviner, one of the most prominent rabbis in religious Zionism, to publish a call not to eat manna ears, due to the high cost of living.
Aviner added that it is a food with a lot of sugar, fat and calories.
