Nearly a year after Megan Merkel's interview with Oprah Winfrey, which managed to stir the world, he made headlines again, but this time in slightly more glittering circumstances.
For the dramatic interview, Merkel (40) chose to wear a black silk dress from an Armenian house valued at about $ 4,700, with lotus flowers printed on one shoulder symbolizing rebirth, enlightenment, purity, spirituality and the ability to survive in difficult and challenging conditions.
All of them are of course meant to symbolize the psychic struggles that Merkel revealed she faced when she married Prince Harry.
The dress of course managed to provoke a discussion no less than the interview itself, and became sold out in a short time.
It is now making headlines again, when the famous Bath Museum in West London announced it as its dress of the year as part of the museum's flagship exhibition "The History of Fashion in a Hundred Items".
Although the dress that will be displayed as part of the exhibition is not the original dress that Merkel wore, the museum said that the designer contributed an exact copy of it.

Every year the museum addresses opinion leaders in fashion and asks them to choose their dress of the year, when it is supposed to represent the trends that have led the fashion world in the past year.
This year Merkel's winning dress was chosen by Dizzy magazine editor Ibrahim Camera and Hart director Gareth Rayton.
Despite the pride and joy expressed by the curators of the exhibition about the choice of dress, on the Instagram page of the museum where the dress was displayed the reactions of the surfers were much less enthusiastic.
"This is a joke and a really bad choice," they wrote.
"Are you kidding me?"
Angrily added another surfer.
"It was chosen only because it made headlines, not by right."
"She chose this dress to get dirty on the royal family and that's what you chose? A really strange choice," others were furious.
"A dress that presents an interview with so many negative connections a year. There were so many other significant things in fashion, and this is your dress of the year? How much did you get paid to choose it?", Another surfer wondered.
"The print on it looks like a bird droppings, which is about what she did in the interview. A completely delusional choice," a surfer concluded.
