American President Joe Biden tweets it after the G7.
"This morning I met with my colleagues from the G7 to discuss President Putin's unwarranted attack on Ukraine and we agreed to carry out devastating packages of sanctions and other economic measures" against Russia.
"We stand next to the brave people of Ukraine," adds Biden.
