(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 24 - Tonight the Colosseum will be illuminated with the colors of the Ukrainian flag while tomorrow afternoon Mayor Gualtieri has called a torchlight procession for peace and insolidarity with the Ukrainian people.
The appointment will be at 6 pm in Piazza del Campidoglio from which we will start with a symbolic march for peace towards the Colosseum.
"We condemn the attack on Ukraine. I invite the Romans to participate in tomorrow's torchlight procession for peace. Let us make our presence felt in support of the Ukrainian people against an absurd and dangerous war for the future of Europe. Let's do it with the colors of peace" , said Mayor Gualtieri.
