Omelette is a quick breakfast but you don't want to eat that many eggs?

Whip up a healthy, filling fake omelet with this oatmeal recipe.

Do you want to start the day full and full of energy and don't belong to the "sweet kind"?

Then an omelette is the right choice.

Of course, the dish has quite a lot of eggs*.

If that puts you off, this recipe is just the thing, because it works without eggs and tastes really spicy.

"fake omelette" is made with rolled oats and cheese

It keeps you full for a long time thanks to the oatmeal and provides you with lots of good nutrients.

You can always modify it, but more on that later.

Now let's start with the simple basic recipe.

Wrong omelette for breakfast: You need these few ingredients

  • 100 g oat flakes, tender or pithy, depending on taste

  • 200ml of water

  • 150g feta

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 4 tbsp olive oil

A delicious start:

These pudding oats are wonderfully creamy and still make you slim.

Recipe for spicy fake omelette: This is how you succeed in having a full breakfast

  • Boil the water (about 200ml) and pour it over the rolled oats (100g) in a bowl until covered.

    Stir in the pinch of salt right away.

    Cover the oatmeal with a plate and let it soak for 15 minutes.

  • Finely dice the feta (200 g) and add it to the oat flakes along with 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil and stir well.

  • Heat some olive oil in a pan and fry first one half of the dough and then the other half until golden brown on both sides.

    This recipe is super easy and fills you up for a really long time.

    You can refine this

    with herbs, dried or fresh mushrooms or vegetables and enjoy it over and over again.
