The next Serie A season will begin on August 14, 2022. This was confirmed by Lega Vice President Luca Percassi during today's assembly.
At the start of the meeting, Percassi informed the clubs of the change decided in the last League Council regarding "the dates of the next sporting season, which will begin on August 14, 2022".
Furthermore, during the meeting, the managing director of Lega Serie A Luigi De Siervo "illustrated to the clubs the planning of Lega Serie A for the coming months, in which the presence of the Lega will be implemented and strengthened in various international markets, with the 'opening of new representative offices and the possible dispute of a tournament in the United States during the stoppage coinciding with the World Cup in Qatar ".
