Covid-19 in France: 52 new deaths, hospital pressure continues to drop

In critical care departments (intensive care, continuous monitoring and resuscitation), 2,491 Covid-19 positive patients are currently hospitalized compared to 2,484 on Saturday and 2,923 a week ago.

For information, the threshold has been set at 1,500 patients to lift the vaccination pass.

42,600 positive cases in 24 hours

In 24 hours, 42,600 positive cases were identified, against 53,623 contaminations the day before, and 59,003 a week ago.

The average over the past week is 57,500 cases per day (-31% in one week).

In addition, 52 deaths were reported in 24 hours at the hospital according to Public Health France.
