In January, 1,346,672 families received the income or citizenship pension for about three million people involved.
It can be read in the Observatory on Citizenship Income from which it emerges that 740.2 million euros were spent in the month.
The average benefit per family was € 549.
It is above all the families of the South and of the Islands who benefit from the instrument to fight poverty with 842,797 nuclei involved for a total of 2,007,942 people.
The province with the most beneficiaries is that of Naples with over 180 thousand families receiving the subsidy and over 486 thousand people involved.
In January 2022, the income or citizenship pension was received by 594,531 single-member families, equal to 44.15% of the total households that received the benefit.
Just over 103 thousand households with at least five members have obtained the subsidy (for 565,988 people involved).
The data is linked to the current equivalence scale that penalizes large families and to the income limits for obtaining the benefit.
